Movies from books can at times, be as good or even better, than the original. In an earlier post, I wrote about some books which I thought were much better than their movie or mini series counterparts, and I rarely see a movie before reading the book. I don’t want someone else’s vision tainting mine. However, the books in this entry are represented well by their movie adaptations, even if some changes occurred in the transition. Most are not recent, as these have stood the test of time.
